What a Pauza listing means
We would rather tell you exactly what this is than let you assume something we have not earned.
Practitioners tell us their credentials, and they stand behind them. Every practitioner confirms that their license or certification is current and in good standing, and agrees to tell us if that changes. That confirmation is part of the terms they sign.
We publish what they tell you, in their words. Their training, their specialty, and how they actually work with women in this transition. We do not rewrite it.
We do not assess anyone's clinical judgment. We do not test their menopause knowledge, we do not rate practitioners, and we do not present any of them as better than another. A listing here is not an endorsement, and it is not a promise about the care you will receive.
You can always check for yourself. Every practitioner's license or certification details appear on their profile, and state boards maintain public registers. We encourage you to look, the same way you would with any clinician.
How It's Funded
How money works here
Practitioners pay to be listed, and that is how this directory is funded. Here is exactly what that does and does not affect.
They can pay for visibility. Some listings are marked Featured. Those practitioners pay more, and in return they appear at the top of browse results and in a rotating feature on our homepage. The Featured label is on every one of them, so you always know which listings are promoted. Featured means paid placement. It does not mean better, more qualified, or more experienced.
They cannot pay to be recommended over someone who suits you better. When you describe what you are going through and ask us to match you, we look at fit first. A Featured practitioner who is a poor match will not be put in front of you. Where two practitioners fit what you described equally well, the Featured listing is shown first, and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
Fit comes first. Payment only breaks a tie.
